I was surprised when I saw my favorite bloggers from Blogspot that most of them were featured in a Globe Tattoo L.E.D billboard. I asked myself, “What does it feel like to be up there? Seeing yourself and your photo being flashed in that huge screen where everyone could see it?”

To be honest, I never imagined myself to appear in billboards, magazines, newspapers or anywhere. I am an awkward/shy turtle like that. I’ve always liked staying within my comfort zone, and I almost never expose myself. Also, my love for fashion has always been inconsistent. There are days that I’d get myself dolled up, and some days when I just look really trashy and unfeminine-like, and I never liked spending hours or minutes just to put on makeup. I have this mentality, that if I *expose* myself in public, there may be some people who would criticize me for having the nerves to blog about fashion and whatnots yet I don’t present myself well in public. I realized that I’ve had too much of negativity that it shouldn’t bother me anymore.

I took chances, dreamed of winning a cash prize to be honest (haha) because it’s weeks before Christmas, term break is fast approaching (so it means I’ll be broke for the nth time), and I haven’t shopped for Christmas gifts yet. But getting a billboard was just equally awesome as getting a cash prize. :)

I am so thankful for that my photo from my pre-debut shoot which was almost two years ago made it to the billboard! Heehee! :> I am beyond happy and overwhelmed! :) A very, very grateful banana! Tumblr represent! :)

I sometimes ask God why he showers me blessings that I don’t think I deserve. Well, there might be things that will soon make sense. <3 I love you, Lord. You’ve always been too good. :) This is an early birthday gift. Thank you :)

My L.E.D billboard will be up from November 25-December 2, 2011 in EDSA Mandaluyong City, Lawton (going to Quiapo and Sta. Cruz, Manila), and Katipunan Ave. (going to Miriam and Ateneo)! :) Tweet me if ever you pass by the billboard! Haha :)
